Today, Sept 1^st, around 1800 bikers from all over the South West came together on the Tamar Bridge between Devon and Cornwall to remember the 2000 bikers who have lost their lives in Devon and Cornwall.

On the 21st August we raised £298 with another in-store collection at South Molton Sainsburys. The support from the store is second to none, with collection tins at the end of the checkouts, a used book stall in the foyer (which will return in the next few weeks with even more titles!) and of course having our volunteers and bikes in store to collect and engage with the customers explaining the work we carry out.

On Saturday 20th July, Devon-based charity Devon Freewheelers visited Sainsbury’s in South Molton to kick off the start of their year-long Local Charity Partnership.

Devon Freewheelers are a group of advanced motorcycle riders who offer their time, skills and expertise free of charge to provide an out of hours emergency response courier service to the NHS right across Devon.

Teignmouth Estuary Rotary Club held a Bike Festival in June in order to raise money for Devon Freewheelers; a charity delivering urgent medical samples, drugs, surgical equipment and tissue samples for transplant across Devon for the NHS, at no charge and AIMS a local group who offer support to families who have children with special needs.
