Today was one of those days that shows that there is no such thing as a normal day, West Midlands Emergency Biker Mark Hayes with his new BMW 1200RT came down to visit.
Today has been a busy day, having received a phone call from Dan suggesting that we swap bikes around... The reason being is I have got the CBF in my garage to see if I can figure out why the battery is discharging over the course of a couple of days.
Our winter Land Rover has just been given a brand new livery for the winter months. The first job was to strip off the old livery which had been on the Land Rover for a couple of years, this task took a couple of days to get it back to the original paint.
We are now well into the new year and bookings have been coming in thick and fast for CBT's ranging covering both the 50cc and 125cc machines. The first CBT was delayed due to the weather, but we are now all systems go for this weekend.

It has been an eventful Sunday today, normally a quiet day of the week down here in the Plymouth area. First of it's been a 1st for me, as I normally wear glasses but today was the first day on the bike in contact lenses. What an improvement in riding comfort!
Well, it's the first week of the new year and it's been quiet so far on the job front, which is probably a good thing considering the weather we are having at the moment. Devon is being hit by Gale force winds with lots of water joining it.
We needed to have a secure method of transporting items in the side panniers of the BMW R1200RT we approached Versapak with the requirements of UN3373 and the dimensions of our panniers.
Exeter Vale Tesco, kindly allowed us to spend the weekend out of the wind and rain to collect for the charity.
