Organisers of the Sampford Peverell Historic Vehicle Show which was held in August were delighted to present the Devon Freewheelers today with a Cheque for £1,050.30; monies raised by the event from ticket sales, tractor runs and trade stalls.

On Saturday the 14th June at 09:00 Lewis Lawrence-Jones embarked on an fundraising ride of epic proportions. Not only did he have over 300 miles ahead of road ahead of him, he had a 24 hour clock counting down.
Today has been a busy day, with the morning working on admin bits, new members coming on board and needing members accounts. With that sorted it was time to head off to show our thanks and support for a member of Fields of Sidmouth staff who was undertaking a 24 hour cycle from London to lands end.
We would like to thank the Staff and Shoppers at Sainsburys South Molton, for what has been an outstanding year of us being there Charity Choice for the last 12 months. We have benefited by having a visual presence in the store allowing the shoppers to stop and talk about the work that we do.
Today I feel was the perfect day for a ride in the South West... What's more, I was able to take full advantage of it and get out on the bike. It was only my normal commute to work which takes me from Plymouth to Portreath in Cornwall.
