Dan is the founder of Devon Freewheelers since the creation of the charity he has worn many hats to ensure the charity has moved forward and evolved with the needs. Dan devotes his time to the charity and somehow finds time to add articles to the site.
The Ladies of Bigbury Golf Club donned their pinnies on Monday 12th February 2018 and hosted a Charity Soup Kitchen with puds lunch to raise funds for Devon Freewheelers, the three Club Captains Chosen Charity 2018 event.

Factoid for you! Since the summer of 2016 to January 2017 our volunteer army in Devon have been providing whole blood for the purposes of transfusion to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. Last month, Air Ambulance Co-Ordinator Dave 'Cookie' Cook was proud to install a new team of local volunteers in Dorchester to manage the service for us.
Devon Freewheelers are proud to announce a new contract has been signed for the transportation of human tissue for the purposes of transplant.
Devon Freewheelers launched a new service to the people of Dorset in 2016 by transporting critical care blood for transfusion to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. The project has been a huge success.
