Today was one of those days that shows that there is no such thing as a normal day, West Midlands Emergency Biker Mark Hayes with his new BMW 1200RT came down to visit.

Due to needing to break in his new bike his ride down to us was a mix of A roads and finally motorway when the weather turned sour.

On arrival a much needed warming mug of coffee went down a treat. Followed by a look around the unit. It was then time to find some food.

We took the opportunity to head out on the bikes of course to get some food. It certainly had some heads turning seeing us on the roads.

Dan lead the ride on one our Transplant GTR1400 bikes, with Mark following on his BMW R1200RT and myself at the rear on a BMW R1200RT Blood bike. We were followed behind was Simon in his response car.

With Jono, Leanne and Nick making their way at the end. Over lunch we took the opportunity to explain in more detail about the roles that we play and how we strive to provide a professional service.

We also took the opportunity to talk about the equipment we use, with Dan being given leads on a supplier for bags for the RT's which will be suitable for non-chilled items that we carry.

Mark said "He is impressed with the work we do and the standards we are setting"

We are looking forward to a busy 2014 and we expect our paths to be crossing throughout the year ahead.
