We would like to congratulate Cornwall Bloodbikes who last night 12th Mar 2015 were given the spotlight by the BBC, helping to let the public know about the work we all do.

Cornwall Freewheelers have recently renamed themselves from Cornwall Freewheelers to Cornwall Bloodbikes, this is as they feel it better informs the public on the work they undertake.

The consignments they pick up can be delivered throughout Cornwall and further afield into Devon or as far as Bristol, for smooth running all the groups in the respective charities work as one to allow us to provide the best level of service to the patients and NHS.

Dan Lavery the Founder of Devon Freewheelers says,

“I am absolutely delighted with the exposure BBC have given Cornwall Blood Bikes and commend them in their efforts to supply a service to the people of Cornwall and sincerely wish them every success in gaining new members and funding from this news piece.

Any media coverage of the vital service all our volunteers supply is a bonus to every group all around the country. It has always been a pleasure working with our neighbours and we wish them every success for the future and will help in any way we can.”

If you have some spare time and would like to support your local bloodbike group please get in touch with them, Cornwall Bloodbikes web address is below. All bloodbike charity's need volunteers to help and also public donations to help provide the services.
