It's now only a matter of days before Honitonian Tracy Allen, a sales advisor at Fields of Sidmouth department store; leave for her incredible mountain climbing challenge - in aid of Devon Freewheelers, Fields nominated Charity of the year.

Tracy has recently returned from Corfu where she has been getting in some practice for her epic climb of the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Toubkal. (At 4,167m/13,671ft high, it is the highest peak in the Atlas mountains and in North Africa)

Tracy has in the past climbed to Everest Base Camp and the The Breithorn (in the Swiss Alps)

There will be 14 people in the group including her husband who works with the Adventure Company founder. Tracy was so moved by the wonderful work of Devon Freewheelers that, even after making herself a promise that she wouldn't climb again, she felt she had to raise the profile and support the charity. You can sponsor Tracy either in Fields Store, in Market Place, Sidmouth; or by visiting www.charitygiving.co.uk/tracyallen

Everyone at Devon Freewheelers would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fields of Sidmouth for their continued support and fundraising activities for Devon Freewheelers. It is lovely to hear all of the staff at Fields have been very supportive of Tracy's challenge.
