Sharon beats the Grand Canyon 2017 Sharon beats the Grand Canyon 2017 Sharon Groves

Honiton adventurer Sharon Grove is well on her way to her next expedition and challenges the Rockie Mountains for Devon Freewheelers!  Sharon has been a fundraiser for the charity for a number of years and last year conquered the Grand Canyon.

>"I am so excited....The Rockies will be my 5th Trek that I have done for Charity, the first two were for the Devon Air Ambulance, then one for Childrens Hospice South West and these recent two for Devon Freewheelers, here in my local town of Honiton. Please sponsor me to support the amazing work these volunteers do for the area" says Sharon.

Over the course of the treks Sharon has raised almost £20,000 and who know's where she'll end up each year. A Virgin Money Giving page has been set up and supporters are asked to donate whatever they can via the link which will also allow any Gift Aid to be claimed at the same time.

Devon Freewheelers would like to thank Sharon once again, for her continued support each year and wish her every success in this spectacular challenge. We will be following Sharon's journey and posting updates as we receive them. If you're bold and brave enough to be doing these sort of adventures and are thinking of doing it for charity, we would love to hear from you!
