Well it has been a few months since I last wrote a blog here so I thought it was time to have another go. Since last time I wrote we have recruited 2 new green riders, Rob Jones and Gordon "Chey" Johnson so at least I can have a bit of a rest!

Rob has been up and running on a couple of jobs recently and Gordon accompanied me on a run from Okehampton to RDE yesterday to learn the ropes. We still need a couple of red (advanced qualification) riders to provide cover for the urgent jobs when I am working away.

I did a brief presentation to Plymouth Advanced Motorists last week and got a warm welcome from them. Several members expressed an interest so I am hopeful that at least a couple with take the plunge and join us.

We are starting to get more enquiries about joining the charity from the Plymouth area so I guess more people must be seeing the bike on the road, or have heard the various interviews we have been doing on local radio.

This is great because as we raise our profile we are able to attract more members, and also open additional funding streams from local businesses wishing to be associated with our work. We are desperate to acquire at least 2 more bikes to be able to cover the increasing workload so if there are any generous benefactors out there reading this please get in touch!

Ride Safe,

Neil
