Up early at 6am, keen, did some work for work before cooking myself a bacon butty. Rolled out the bike just after 8am and of to the seaside. Nice ride down with not too much traffic, bit chilly so switched on the southern softy grips. Clocked one of the DFW bikes working its way down into Paignton, manged to sneak up behind Les without him noticing until I was along side him at the lights.

Weather was a tad nippy but warmed up during the day. Met up with Neil and went off for a check ride around Torbay, head going ten to the dozen clocking the Sunday drivers. Back to BMAD, by which time more DFW had arrived and the site was getting a whole lot busier.

Lee's (duty call handler) phone started ringing and the DFW crew started started to dissapear left right and centre. I had an urgent run up to RD&E then onto Sidmouth and back to Paignton. Overall I would say that it had been a very good day for all concerned.

The BMAD event was well supported and even in a recession folk gave donations to the cause. A big thank you to all that supported, organised, ran around like headless chickens trying to resolve problems and the public at large that made it a memorable weekend.

See you all next year.
