While this week has been very quiet for me, this Sunday I joined Volunteers from 4 charities together with the management of Drake Circus to attempt to row across the channel on Concept 2 Rowers in the main atrium.
A quiet week overall for me, but I had one BloodBike job on Friday evening and Saturday was spent in Ivybridge collecting much needed funds to keep the bikes on the road.
This has been a quiet weekend for us in Plymouth & the South Hams, with only 2 jobs for us all weekend. One on Friday saw me head out of county into Cornwall, and Saturdays Job kept me well within the City Limits.
This Bank Holiday weekend despite the rain that seems to never leave us was one of some great rides with great friends. I covered around 300 miles a mix of riding for pleasure and BloodBiking.
To day was the day of the monthly Plymouth IAM half day ride out, meeting at Sainsbury Marsh Mills, Plymouth and then taking in some of the counties roads.
The Summer bookings are coming in for the Devon Freewheelers with a welcome invite to return to the Dean Court Vintage Rally and Fayre which has this year grown to a new venue at the Newton Abbot Racecourse.
